Kari Hampton
Associate Professor of Physical Education and Health Education, Teacher Education and Program Coordinator of Health and

Dr. Kari Hampton joined the Health, Athletic Training, Recreation and Kinesiology department in January of 2017. She holds a Doctorate of Health Education from A.T. Still University, a Masters of Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelors of Science from Longwood University (C/O 2004).

Her areas of research interest include educational best practices in Health and Physical Education. Dr. Hampton teaches Introduction to Health Education and Promotion, Health Communication and Advocacy, Grant Writing, Middle School Methods and Developing Leadership in Health and Physical Education.
